The 2021 GreekFest Freedom Run will be taking place on Sunday, August 22, 2021 to help our local Greek Community and Special Olympics Canada.
• This is a race for all levels of runners: 5K, 10K and a 2k Family walk
• Every Runner will receive a Medal
• The course is along the Rideau Canal with amazing natural views & the Hogs Back falls.
• This is an event to run and commemorate all people and things that are free.
• Fun run for competitive runners and active families. Parents bring the whole family and register your kids.
• This Freedom Run is to help our Special Olympic athletes of Canada conquer their mission.

We are excited to announce our First GREEKFEST FUN RUN event. We call it FREEDOM RUN for many reasons. We are commerating and celebrating Greece’s 200 years of independence. We also want to celebrate and be free from this terrible pandemic we all faced. We also want to celebrate and fundraise for Special Olympics Canada. Furthermore, we celebrate the freedom and equality to all people of all colour and race.
